I never really thought about the immense disconnect that started happening once Homestuck got less and less interactive. 'You' stopped meaning who 'you' were 'playing' as and just became a standin for the current character on screen. Very strange.

Another episode of 'dirk parrots things the writers haters say so he can paint himself as an even bigger villain for disagreeing with them'. Dirk's not even the bad guy anymore, man, he keeps trying to be but Hussie is the biggest villain Homestuck has ever known.

Left a very bad taste in my mouth.

It's a dramatic tonal difference from the rest of the comic, especially acts 5 and 6. A lot of silly humor and wackiness, and game mechanics that ended up being way more interesting but still sidelined in effort to develop and introduce new characters nobody asked for time after time.
