I'd so go for it unless you just really really hate the epilogues because it builds off from that.

Reading the epilogues was actually the most painful experience I've ever had. I don't remember much from Candy but Meat was hard to sit through because of dirks prose and it seeps a bit into hs^2 unfortunately but thankfully not by a huge amount . What I did was just read the comic just like that when the site was still up (but now the collection is better). I heard the voiced dub on youtube is good but apparently they didn't really go through with the entire comic. I used to know someone who somehow managed to read the entire thing in a week...

I found this video of different kinds of Megalovania and homestuck was on it. I didn't really touch it until later. When I had a bad day I watched the Make her Pay flash with like zero context but it did make me feel better. After that I tried reading the webcomic. And now, I'm here.
