Hey all! Realized I hadn't introduced myself yet. Havent really explored much of the boards since I mostly focus on the forum adventures. Love it there.
Anyway
Hello! My name is 23toedbasket or 23TB for short! I'm probably the oldest guy on the server from what I've seen. I'm a big hippie from the last wave of the movement before it got re-consumerismizationated. I found homestuck a little while ago when i finally gave into the pestering of a buddy of mine. I instantly fell In love with the story and the medium of forum adventures in general! It's what I've always sort of wanted to do. Been drawing most of my life, little comics and stuff like that. But forum adventures really bring to the table what I always felt was lacking. Farm to table art and back you know? So groovy.

Anyway I am currently making a 3 dimensional adventure. One story told through three threads. I call it The Voids. They're ...A VOID, ...A VOID 2 COMPLETED (which is the first and only completed forum adventure) and ItaliCuest. If you're interested check it out! Yo! I'm Library-Whale! I got into Homestuck.... uh.... fuck, sometime around 2010-2011? I don't really remember? I'll try to narrow it down a bit, uh.... I got caught up with the comic when Jade was trying to get Jadesprite to stop crying endlessly... the most recent page at the time was right before Karkat interrupted her. Point is, I was around for [S] Cascade! (Managed to watch it before Megaupload crashed, heck yeah.)

Actually... a few of you might remember me from the old forums as irrelevantEternity! I was.... haha, I was kiiinda embarrassing back then when I wasn't lurking. But regardless... I've been finding myself missing the good ol' days, and as a result, I'm here!

I never truly interacted with the fandom at large, and mostly stuck to my own circle of friends. i haven't introduced myself either yet so why not

i discovered homestuck in late 2015 through toby fox but i quickly caught up and was ecstatic to be present for its end. i obsessed over it for a while and then slowly drifted away after whatpumpkin released hiveswap, but i rediscovered it about four months ago and promptly read the epilogues and caught up entirely. i appreciate it much more now because i'm able to pick up on its nuances of craft and overarching themes, which admittedly went unnoticed to my younger self, who opted instead for "oo colorful pixel art wow dave say fuck lol vriska bad."

other than that i'm an artist and i like books and stuff. i'll commit to helping a fan project once i get my shit straight and finally decide which skill i should focus on lmao. my tumblr is overthinkre

I started reading Homestuck in college during the Gigapause and was able to catch up before it finished. Currently keeping up with Beyond Canon, the video games, and physical releases too (even the Epilogues). Currently having issues find the damn secret route in Befriendus, lol. I'm big into anime and other video games too. Still Homestuck and Black Butler trash in 2020.

I'm new to Homestuck. Only been a years since i got in this (This is hell, get me out)

I got hooked to the Alchemy part of this weird thing we're all fan of (I assume you guys are fan of this... If not this is awkward) Specifically the code aspect of Alchemy. So much so i have a project in the works related to Homestuck Alchemy codes and I hope to Finish it so it can be released and used

I'm fan of many other things. I'm also an aspiring game dev with no codding skills (fuck my life) who wish to learn (But god is it painful) but i also have a project in the works in that department (Thanks god working with a team is a thing) I do sprites. Been spriting for years but my skills while not the best are still decent. I'm more of a concept kind of person.

i'm 21 and i actually only read homestuck for the first time, about a year ago (that is to say, september 2019 just about) from when i posted this! which is kind of scary. i had a lot of opportunities to get into it when i was younger (i was on tumblr and saw it on my dashboard a lot in 2012 and 2013) but i just never did, until then.

other than that i like to write and draw (i made the really astoundingly good signature, and also the profile image. but the profile image is cropped from a full piece. so i guess ill post that somewhere later? whatever.) and well i have a lot of ocs, both homestuck and not. actually i dont have that many homestuck ocs yet. its nice to meet you all though!

I read Homestuck for the first time very long ago but I barely got through act 2 and had no idea what was going on. my first full read was last year because some people were doing threads on 4chan's /v/ideo game board about a game called Overseer 2, which is a web browser sburb fangame MMO thingy, and I decided to check it out and while playing I decided to start reading the comic for real. At that point the epilogues had arealdy came out and right around the time I finished reading they announced Pesterquest and that's where we are today. my opinion on the comic is that I fucking hate Andrew Hussie .

I dont do anything lol go check out the other people in this thread that actually make cool stuff.

...okay, maybe not so much that last bit, but I have been around for a while, though under a much different name. I guess you could say I'm sort of coming out of retirement, as it were. Got into the comic in the late 2000's, I think it was, and took part in a bit of silliness on the old MSPA forums that eventually evolved into something a bit more serious (though still fairly lighthearted and very much freeform).
