That's so cute--well, Tavros is always cute tho. The style kinda reminds me of Adventure Time, which is good for the nice simplicity. The lines are neat (especially for his horns), the shading is neat and clear, too. The only thing that irks me is his right hand which is holding something (football?). His index finger and pinky seems too far apart while the middle and ring finger are so close side by side--which is odd. It would make more sense if the four fingers gaps are similarly far.
Ah, human body anatomy/proportions. My absolute weakness on drawing that I'm still struggling with. Yes, I'm still learning on it, too, so I can't give much critics to you than some advice to learn more from so many references of human anatomy. Here's an example :
I agree about the lighting. It should be improved more to at least show Davepeta's face (yeah i thought it should have some light reflection on the cheeks. CMIIW). But the colors, shading, and lines are already good and clear.
