Hey guys (little nod to Toby Fox)
I’m a fan just like you of these kinds of universes — Homestuck, Deltarune — that mix the weird with something strangely emotional, that undefinable flavor I love so much.
I come straight from the world of Dragon Quest and other RPGs, through Undertale, Deltarune, a pinch of Omori, and especially the Mother series (the best, obviously).
I’ve abandoned tons of projects. Again. And again. And again. And… well, again. But this time I don’t want to. That’s why I’m asking for your thoughts.
I want to make a video game that’s not quite an RPG — and that goes the opposite direction of breaking the fourth wall. A game with a different kind of mechanic.
The story? A young amnesiac boy with a sixth sense heads to Strangeville for summer vacation — a town hit by all sorts of bizarre phenomena.
The goal is simple: no XP, no HP. Just moments you live through with other characters — and those moments become collectible memories that help soothe both the dead and the living.
No this time!
