You take a deep breath and quietly steam instead of doing a pirouette off the handle. FREEDOM OF SPEECH showed you a future without DEMOCRACY. This is an absolute betrayal from the TYRANTS, the very same who you helped and befriended. Your friendship, your ideals, none of it mattered to them. You've been nothing more than an amusing pet for them to keep around and ultimately abandon. They set upon you and your friend to build their world and raise their eventual worshipers only to return and rule as KINGS and QUEENS in the far future when you no longer appear to be around.

The thought makes you boil with fury inside your carapace.


Perhaps there is a difference between you and the Sovereign Slayer. Where he killed indiscriminately your targets are made with purpose. You seek to kill the new GOD-KINGS of the future and only them. You will not see DEMOCRACY die.

The means the Rose TYRANT is next. You must steel your resolve and forge on. The TREE OF LIBERTY must be watered fully.

Before you get going you decide to watch WV: Ascend again. It's pretty good and you like the music. It helps you calm down a little.

You try to imagine the Rose TYRANT getting smashed by the burning tree. If only it could be that easy here.

(And also a weirdly prescient one because SPOILERS - The most recent Homestuck^2 bonus update hints that the Mayor was never able to rest easy on Earth C because he knew the Creators would one day return and upset his democracy. So if WV really did know that was gonna happen I could see him going down this route - ESPECIALLY since he was PROPHECIZED to do something quite similar.)

You recall your time on the meteor. An array of memories wash up from the recesses of your mind and you quickly pick through them to try and dredge up a memory of someone you feel like you are forgetting.



Unfortunately there's so much useless garbage filling your memories you have to pick through all the useless stuff that happened recently and work backwards.

Wait a minute this looks important. It's an older memory, one you faintly recall among the daily mindless rot that's been your life on this meteor. The shouty TYRANT and you had been walking around looking for the Dave TYRANT when you came upon a peculiar scene of a room damaged and painted in a variety of pretty colors. The shouty TYRANT became agitated and started to argue...

Oh yes, the 8itch TYRANT. They had a very long and snarky argument, a back and forth you listened to in amazement as they spoke of things you didn't understand. "Moirail" this and "Moirail" that and the grounds of whether or not the shouty TYRANT was any good at being one. You don't really remember all the details as these made up words made your eyes sometimes glaze over in boredom.

Wait who was that over there?



Who's this fellow?



Oh no. The shouty TYRANT started to pull you away after finishing with his argument like a parent tugging their child away from a vagrant before they could ogle too long. But you think you can remember if you just think HARD enough!

THERE!



There was ANOTHER one on the meteor! The strange one like the other horned TYRANTS! You rarely if ever see this fellow because for some reason he kept himself FAR AWAY from you and the others. You can scarcely remember seeing him aside a very few series of memories, it's no wonder you could barely remember him!

This FELLOW is not like the TYRANTS. You have seen him in the FREEDOM OF SPEECH and know he is not ALLIED with them. What luck!

Also since I'm here I apologize for that wait. I got too wrapped up other stuff that took away from WV stuff and that's not cool. I will aspire to be much cooler now. Maybe not radical, as that is too much cool even for me.
