Homestuck.XYZ 2.0

You're cold.



So cold and so numb that you can't feel a thing, like floating in an endless void of nothingness. Everything is quiet, motionless, and dark.



You're conscious. You just realized that. You've never been conscious before, this is new.



You're starting to warm up. You feel your heart beat very slowly.



You open your eyes. You can see. It's dark in here but you can see. Where is "here" anyway? You have no idea.

As you warm up more, your heart beats faster, you can start to feel your body, you think you could even move around, and...

Something... hurts?



You jolt up.

You're freezing cold! Your whole body feels like it's being pierced with a thousand tiny needles. And you don't even know what a needle is!

You didn't realize just how incredibly cold you really were until you warmed up enough to feel it. But well, at least that means you're warming up.



You glance around at your surroundings.

Well, this sure is a... place of some sort?

You feel like you should do something besides just sit here and shiver.

What will you do?

> GET UP.



You decide you'd better get up.



The air is cold and stagnant, but not as cold as that stone slab you were lying on.

Now that you're up, you start thinking about how you don't know who you are. Maybe this room can tell you something about yourself?

> LOOK FOR CLUES TO YOUR IDENTITY.



You look around and see an icon of some sort etched into the stone above the slab.





Well. Um... Hmm. Is that thing carved into the stone supposed to be you? It has the horns and tail, but it doesn't look too accurate otherwise.



In search of something else to show you who you are, you look at the side of the stone slab.

There are shapes on it. Symbols. You don't know how or why but looking at them seems to bring concepts and sounds to your mind.

Sus... Ir... Gom... Yo...

Surface... Of... Sleep... No...

Surface of no sleep? Bed of sleeplessness? Slab of awakening? Slab of awakening... Yes, that must be it. You're not sure exactly why you understand it, but that's what these symbols mean. Does this mean you were asleep a moment ago? You don't really know.

Well, at least now you know that you can read these symbols, but you don't see any more of them in this room.

What will you do now?

> PRACTICE SINGING FOR A WHILE.



You open your mouth and let out a sound. Each little noise coming out of your mouth seems to bounce off the walls back at you.

You try things out for a little bit, making noise in a few different pitches. You sing for a while. It actually sounds good. The acoustics are quite nice in here.

> ENTER THROUGH DOORWAY.



You decide you've done enough singing. You're still not thrilled at the idea of being in this frigid room for any longer, so you walk through the doorway.



The doorway leads into a hall of some sort. The walls are plain and smooth, and there seems to be some light up ahead.

You hear something. Shuffling, grunting, some kind of vocalization. Something moving... Is there something else alive in here with you?

As you get farther, you wonder, what could it possibly be? Another person like you? A monster? Or maybe something even stranger than that?

You don't really have much experience with existing in the world so you really have no idea what it could be, but if anything that is making your fear of the unknown even stronger.

Whatever it is, it sounds like it's getting closer...
