Thanks to its use in Elwurd and Vriska's routes, I've now recalled how amazing of a jam this is. It's been helpful in my writing sessions, thanks to that smooth guitar, and it's both a song that gets me pumped while simultaneously having the power to calm me down.

when i first started reading homestuck in like 5th/6th grade i would listen to it every single day on my way to lunch where i would then sit alone and eat listening to it. it has been my favorite for EVER. and with the sample of it in daves good pesterquest ending song i feel as though the warren dave owns timeline comes to an end, as im about to graduate high school and i actually have friends now so im not a total LOSER.
dave has also been my favorite character for EVER, when i was younger i didn't really know why and i fed into fanon a ton, but now im able to actually properly analyze characters and this song is just very dave for me man.

I adore Lord English's leitmotif (English is also a pretty solid jam) and this song is just the culmination of his being, it's grandious and energetic and so much to take in, I love it.

I really like basically everything credited to Clark Powell. Whatever vibe that they manage to consistently instill between and really, really works for me. Every time I go to look up a new fave off the official albums, it's by Clark.

If we're getting into fanmusic, it's extremely difficult to pic a fave without some other constraining criteria like character, theme, or instrumental vs vocals. But I think that BABY GOT PANTS is up there as one of the most severely underrated parodies. Posted in 2012 to less than 2300 views in all that time!

there are so many that spring to mind but the one that always rises to the top is descend. it definitely is heavily weighted by my memories of the flash but i'll be damned if it still doesn't make me a bit emotional when i listen to it.
