Spades Slick is obviously the most superior Jack in all of Paradox Space, he is so superior that I don't even need to give a reason why.

In all seriousness though, he ain't so bad. He didn't try to kill literally everyone in the universe, at least.
He didn't deserve to die.

I swear, this is the last appreciation thread from me.

He didn't deserve to be thrown together with the other antagonists, because he's not a bad person. Violent, bloodthirsty, yes, but he never did anything bad to anyone that didn't deserve it he did stab karkat but he apologized afterwards

His death was completely uncalled for. Why would Hussie keep him alive for so long, make him cheat death like three or four times, to make him die in the most stupid way in Collide?

Karkat should've been on the roof. They clearly have a strong emotional bond and if Slick had seen him there, even if Karkat himself didn't recognize Slick, Slick would recognize him, and at least he would side with the kids as well. Maybe if that was the case they would've never stood in the threeway stalemate.

I KNOW RIGHT!??? You would NEVER expect someone like Spades slick to ever do that, and yet, he did, and he did it because he genuinely believed that Karkat's situation was sad, and he wanted to give him comfort by proving to him that his blood is nothing to be ashamed about. It's fucking powerful man, and he's clearly bonded with Karkat over the course of the game.

Out of all the iterations of Jack Noir, SS is the most unique and singularly the kindest and with the biggest heart. It's still not enough for him to be a fucking philanthropist or anything, but he has more emotions than just rage and bitterness.

I recommend SelanPike's stuff on mspfa! They have a fun three-part adventure about a problem sleuth + intermission alternative universe called MobsterSwitch, an anthology of comic strips and a very short heartwarming adventure about Slick's death

I recommend SelanPike's stuff on mspfa! They have a fun three-part adventure about a problem sleuth + intermission alternative universe called MobsterSwitch, an anthology of comic strips and a very short heartwarming adventure about Slick's death

not my bag, sadly. i think the art and the writing is a little too twee for the source material.

Here's a classic, Jack Quest. Although imo it's only okay, and Selan Pike's comics are a lot better. They even made an epilogue just for Slick, which is better than Hussie gave him.

Lord Jack debatably did things wrong, but for a lot of them he was possessed, so we can't exactly judge it all that well

Spades Slick did absolutely nothing wrong and died in vain. Rest In Peace, my man. All he wanted was to avenge his casino.
