exactly! a lot of people that defend her actions also say it's because she has been through a ton of shit, and as someone who has had really bad mental health episodes due to trauma, i think that if what you do outweighs your trauma even slightly, that shit does not excuse it. just because you're broken doesn't mean you're not responsible for your actions.
