Everyone keeps saying Dave is Hussie's self-insert, but, that's bullshit.

Hussie:

• has a serious overbite.

• has a degree in compsci but could not schedule updates for his own website in any way that was better than posting them to a private phpBB board.

• wrote this code.

• and kept absolutely no backups in the near decade that the MSPA Forums were on the internet.

It's obviously been John this whole time.

John is his dorkiness.
Dave is his mannerisms and the personality he chooses to present to the internet.
Rose is his pretentiousness.
And Jade initially served as someone to troll the reader by breaking all previous patterns so I have an excuse to not do mental gymnastics for her.
