So a theory for wtf is going on in the more recent updates.

My guess of what is going on with Vriska is simple.
Pesterquest is canon and it IS the Point itself. Vriska got sucked into it. Its possible the mac hine was use to make a portal to the timeline Candy shares space with.
She is currently in a Dream bubble, and is encountering ghosts and dream bubble generated hallucinations. Many of the aspects she is encountering is identical to friendsim and pseterquest, goal oriented tasks, But unlike in either there is no convenient coaxing command statements to guide, only Vriska to make the choices and being looped to the back.
Question would be if its the Reader himself behind these events or if its someone else.
Ironically that would lean into the 'fandom taking over' shtick they introduced this series as if Reader turns out to be a third party, the embodiment of the fandom. Or even, it turns ou tthe actual competition is between dirk and the reader, and alt calliope is deluding herself.
Buuut its... possible that Reader is also behind some of the odder... things here. He might have been the one behind Yiffany.
