Unofficial Homestuck Collection Broken?

I couldn't find a forum/page pertaining to this, so forgive me if I've overlooked it, but I've had an issue with the browser version of the collection for a few days and figured I'd ask about it. I've been rereading HS on the browser version of the Unofficial Homestuck Collection (https://homestuck.giovanh.com/) and it randomly stopped working, with EVERY page displaying "503 Service Temporarily Unavailable
nginx" against a white screen. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same issue, or knows what's going on. It hasn't worked on any of my other devices so I don't think it's a problem with the system. If anyone has a clue about what's wrong, please let me know!

I had the same issue, and so did another friend. I have no clue what's going on! I wonder if it's an issue with the site it's hosted on? Regardless, I hope it comes back up soon...

Hopefully! Thankfully I downloaded the desktop version to test something for a friend just before the issue started, but now you can't even get onto the website to download it! I'm sure everything's fine, at least I hope so haha

Update - The download page still works, but unfortunately EVERY OTHER PAGE just redirects to it. The collection is saved, but the online version still seems to be messed up. I'm guessing the devs are just working on fixing it since something DID change, but we'll see

Update 2 - I didn't read everything haha, there's a note from Gio at the bottom that says stuff is being fixed. Hooray!

I'm still having this problem as well :( It started around the time this was posted but it simply redirected to the download page (and text saying it was down), but now it doesn't even redirect and i'm just getting an error message from the page i bookmarked.

I noticed that too! Apparently Error 451 means "unavailable for legal reasons," so I hope there wasn't a conflict with Viz or someone else who owns the rights. I haven't seen anything about it on Gio's page, but I also didn't look incredibly hard since I was out of town when I noticed. Still hoping things end up alright!

i'm fairly sure VIZ doesn't hold much in terms of rights to homestuck right now. It makes me wonder who they could be in trouble with?? the project was endorsed by whatpumpkin/homestuck team last i checked.

Recently I saw a webpage floating around that was saying the UHC was going to become official. I have no clue where the link is, so rumors abound, but... I think it's a possibility that makes sense. Is that the endorsement you're talking about?

I went to the github page (https://homestuck.github.io/) and it pops up with some weird, unformatted blob of words but there IS some interesting information, particularly this line:

" A new "Official" Homestuck Collection is now in development, and the original Unofficial Homestuck Collection will continue to be preserved and available here. It should be noted that while it remains open source, any official updates or changes will be made on a new Homestuck Independant Creative Union controlled GitHub fork that can be found here."

The "here" is just a hyperlink that leads to another github page for UHC (https://github.com/homestuck/unofficial ... collection) but this might be the page you saw floating around.

First time posting, but i saw yall struggling and wanted to help. My browser also fucked up heavy so i tried to download the unofficial collection and after some trial and error i got it to work . I really have loved getting into Homestuck, its unlike anything ive ever read, its soooo good its all ive been thinking about for aaagees. so im about to catalouge all the sites and steps i took to download the app onto my laptop and i hope you fine folks (alternativeSymphony, wolfkitty42, chimericalTheorist) can do the same and keep experiencing this sick ass story . also quick question, who's ur fav? Mines Karkat (No spoilers plz im at page 3747)
