It's weird how the first image's text is repeated. Wouldn't it be easier to format the plaintext like a newspaper column? I wouldn't know but that's what I'd think.

That was surprisingly long and interesting. I will say that while this stuff doesn't in fact pertain to what is going on right now it is abit too interesting to just say that 'it may or may not become important later'.

Though honestly i really don't give a fuck. Its just five bucks in a general sense and i am not paying directly FOR this content. But yea they ARE wielding them semantics aggressively in this case. Its not part of the 'main story' because this seems to be trying into what is happening back in the normal Earth C while we are dealing with Candy right now.
Personally if you are already supporting the patreon its only 3 dollars more than the likely 2 you paid and so far its interesting.

It does leave the question of where Jasprose has been all this damn time. Prob held hostage in some way. And this kinda proves that a lot of Jane's issue and behavior, was because of Dirk's manipulations. Jane is a victim. They were her darker pieces, things that were already there, but Dirk forced them to the surface and ensured they would be that way.

I fear that Jasprose is ultimately playing into Dirk's hands here. She kinda has no choice, she needs to help Jane and break her out of this else it would be bad for their world. However it will make Jane hate dirk if, or when, she realizes he used her so, that he has such terrible power. And dirk wants to be hated.

I think it's really interesting how Swifer is occupying a political position specifically meant for Kanaya at the moment. I think Swifer is supposed to draw a lot of comparisons to Kanaya in general, honestly, especially with since Cliper outright states she's gay, although I guess it's not exactly outlandish that there would be multiple strictly homosexual jadebloods.

Are Earth C troll names supposed to be just "things"? Like Motter Ataxia is Motor Ataxia, and Swifer and Cliper are obvious. Is the team just running with the "earth c trolls are just named after their theme"?

Jasprose has both the capricious nature of a cat and Rose's verbose intellect. We just never saw the latter before. Though i am curious where the hell she's been all this time.
I am not sure if the immense horniness comes from Rose or jasper. Girl needs to finally fuck someone i think, jaysus.

Also i would not be surprised if the trolls are. Maybe they do the while 'named properly at 13' thing and they end up named after their hobbies and talents. Combining cultures and such.

Was talking more in a biology sense. Jades of the male sex are so rare as to be seemingly non existent in some generations of Jadebloods. Lanque was, of course, born a girl but transitioned into a boy. Cliper seems to be someone born a boy.
Though its not implausible Cliper is transgender himself but weirdly enough its more interesting if he was born a boy simply because, of course, we have absolutely no representation of the Y troll chromosome amongst the jadelboods.

That is like the extreme opposite of how things are in our world. No one is saying "Maybe we should have some boy representation." in 99% of the cases. A jade born male is probably as rare as a Fuschia blood.

Edit: also, if Lanque is trans, then to say that Cliper is so special by virtue of being cis male would assume that Cliper is cis. Who knows if that's true or not?

Incidentally, I started a poll last night on twitter asking what people thought about trans Cliper, and it has 6 yes votes to 2 no votes (and 3 of no opinion) at this moment. Small sample size, I know, but it's more than nothing.

Finally got around to reading it. I'm really happy the writers acknowledge how inherently flawed the basis upon Earth C was founded is, seeing as it was founded upon high schoolers with a middle school understanding of world history, economics, bureaucracy, sociological conflict theories, etc. I hope they explore that point more in future updates.
It also seems that basically everything happening on Meat's Earth C will be delegated to bonus updates, which I'm not sure if I like or dislike.

I am also not terribly fond of the implication that the reason that Jane is a bigot is because she was raised as a privileged capitalist. Oh, and lets not forget the relatively subtle trump bashing.

Honestly, I was just fine with the notion that high schoolers would mess up when trying to design an entire society from scratch plus whatever knowledge they brought from earth prime.

Any society falls apart if their system sucks. And let's face it, you can't say that capitalism is in any way working.

There are just parts that should not be part of it. Healthcare without question as that is riff with exploitation. Food.. is a bit more debatable but there is a gross inefficiency when it comes to how we do food, we waste enormous amounts of it becuae of 'profit'. Fuck entire fields of peaches rot because it is oddly shaped rather than just dicing the fuckers up.

All systems have an inherent flaw. ironically enough you could possibly patch them by applying things from different systems.
