it seems to be an ongoing Thing in candy that our dear heir of breath isn't always taking all the actions available.
Seeing That House, just like the one that Dad had at the beginning, I never realized how much it would hurt to see it burn to the ground.
The dramatic lighting, it reminds me a lot of how the skies looked back when the fires were going on during the summer over here where I live.
I can't wait to see how Vriska's SGRUB plan pans out.

This upd8 was absolutely stellar. The way that things moved from one place to the next was just fantastic and really had that good sense of sweeping scale. And the art quality... whoever drew those panels really outdid themselves.

I feel like either Vriska is just being really really stupid, or she is just being manipulated by dirk to create a new sburb session. We already know Dirk has control over the candy timeline ( as is evident when we see what happened with jane and dave). his ultimate goal to create a new sburb session to get a genesis frog to create a new universe that only he can control. so the fact that vriska is in support of eridacating Earth C in favor of creating a new sburb session makes me feel like she is being manipulated. Also it is incredibly sad to see what happened to John's house. Skaia is still using the common theme of fucking around with John and giving him more than he can take.

I dont think the momb too that long to drop btw. Unless he was ready to use his powers, i think its reasonable he might not be able to stop it. Doubt he was expecting a bomb.

I'll be real and say that I don't like the fact that Johns house was seemingly destroyed for like, no reason in story. However I would like John to be spurred to real action and simply Go Off.

I'd also like to see him go truly grimdark because of this, the last thing he's ever had from Earth, his home, taken away from him. Though that's pretty much slim to none, due to how it seems to come about, but a girl can dream.

I wonder if, between Vriska wanting to kick off the Sgrub and Dirk trying to do Sgrub as well, it’ll result in some kind of two-seperate-sessions-are-actually-one-massive-session like the trolls, but on a bigger scale. The only two things I could see impeding this are the lack of communication and the lack of any actual players on Dirk’s side.

One way of getting that to happen is to have Dirk be the guy who made the entirety of this final version of the Game, and through Some Right Bullshit^tm it manages to somehow teleport into the black hole of Candy and then shit goes even more off the rails I guess.
