We have team meat, who is not on either side rreally. Yea they want to kick Dirk in the dick right now but pretty sure they want rose back and to figure wtf bro? But far as we know if they reasons are good enough?

We have Team calliope who wants things to function as paradox space always has. But at this point there seems to be a darker side to Paradox space. As if the machine is not as pragmatic as we thought before. It might even be villainous and spiteful. She probably presumes Team Meat are part of her team already.

Team Dirk who wants to Hijack a session for his own purpose. Why remains a mystery. He is arguably more dangerous as he is far more willing to use his powers blatantly, though he seems to want to set himself up as a fall man, but only after he achieves his goals.

Team candy has yet to form, but presumably they will want to escape the black hole. We have no idea how they would learn of it or the motivations that would lead to to try. No certainty where their loyalty will lie. But they will be the largest faction by far, with an entire ghost army. They could level the playing field.

Then there is the Sburb team, the kids who will play Dirk's hijacked session. We can presume that Dirk manipulates them into siding with his team.

I would also say that if we look at Hiveswap and such? With this whole settup i can't help but feel Hiveswap folds into Homestuck^2. Pesterquest possibly blatantly with the reader appearing in story in some form. Hiveswap more subtle i think. So that in itself could be another faction of uncertain loyalties. It depends on what is behind homestuck.

If a story needs an author in Homestuck's universe, then who is the Author of Hiveswap?

We already ahve various teams in play. Its almost game of thrones levels here.
