"Oh no, the Vriska route is sympathetic to Vriska! Ruined forever!"

does it like
really matter? if you don't like the vriska route that's fine but to judge the entire product on the basis of Vriska is ridiculous
Every other route was great and Vriska's was funny too. "Thembo Friendslut" and the line about how Thomas Edison electrocuted Topsy the Elephant in front of a live audience to discredit Tesla's Alternating Current were great.
If saying Vriska did nothing wrong means the entire work is shit then I have some bad news for you about the Author's Commentary

Part of me wants to say bits from the podcast interview that Aysha had spoken about Pesterquest's development also raised flags.

With the Toblerone retcon that has been going on during it that a certain Vriska related happened to be close before her release date, I think some concerns for how characters are handled by different authors will be spoken at one point.

Here is also Heart Eyes Kanaya without the Sprite Source BG in the way.

I think the whole "You're looking at something who did nothing wrong." is played for laughs more than anything, but personally I don't think it's a completely false statement either

I'm having trouble understanding what you're trying to say here.

Thank you for making a proper heart eyes Kanaya.

And yeah, there's definitely some controversy around the Pesterquest authors and how characters are being portrayed.

But I'm curious, what was the "red flags" that popped up in whatever Aysha said about Pesterquest?

I thought that too at first. Then I saw the tweets.

I think I remember that she said about being the team being soviets, which confirms what Kate had said in the Perfectly Generic Podcast. There was also the comment about how after the finished writing for Eridan's Route, she said to have become an 'unironic Eridan stan'. There was also about her father writing Feferi's route and how the father commented that said character reminded him of Aysha.

I'm confused on how these are red flags. Like, specifically confused on why saying that her father saw Aysha in Feferi is a red flag.

Unironic Eridan stan? why is this a red flag exactly?

I think she had really disliked Eridan. For similar or close reasons why he is often hated among the fanbase.

This makes me outstandingly nervous. I'm not sure the sort of people to absolutely abhor Eridan doing a flip to actually liking him in a way to 'stan' for him means something good for the violet prince and it's pretty hard to stay optimistic about it.

But, then again, they surprised me with Jade so I'm hoping I'm pleasantly surprised again. :lime:

So once Equius and Terezi volume comes out, should we reduce our foul lowb100d language? We don't want to be seen as e%tremely vulgar.

Things like nastyboy, f*ckboy, and incel to describe Eridan by haters has been a thing from before to present times. They see Eridan as Cronus, despite Cronus was made to ironically poke fun at what haters saw in Eridan. Even Hussie is getting on doing this in his book commentary. I like Eridan as a character and villain as well.
