Hmmm. I think John canonically read Problem Sleuth, so it’s very likely he would read homestuck. Rose would likely get bored of homestuck’s “gimmicks” and disregard it. Jade would likely read it a lot while she’s asleep on Prospit, but I doubt she would read it as her regular self on Earth. Not sure why I think that, though.

the homestuck cast was originally all based off different internet archetypes and stereotypes so I feel like they'd all read it for different reasons right? At least everyone except maybe Jake I think Jake's the only guy not based off an internet stereotype he's like... a boomer.

Dave was already reading Midnight Crew on MSPA. My guess is that he'd probably read Homestuck too - he'd say it was an "ironic interest," but would probably unironically enjoy the humor, characters, and music. He'd definitely rope John into it, who'd probably read until the end of Act 3 or 4 and get bored. Rose would ironically read the entire thing and write giant controversial theory shitposts specifically designed to provoke fandom preconceptions. Jade would halfway skim through just to keep up with Dave so they could talk about it, but would eventually read the thing in full. She'd probably do a lot of roleplay circa 2012.

Vriska would want to read it because she would narcissistically identify with her stand-in. Karkat would hate-read it. He'd also write huge controversial theory posts, but they would be unironic. He and Rose frequently clash, and eventually, and unintentionally, build warring subcultures in the fandom that spur off a huge mess of bullshit. Both write wildly popular fanfic. Terezi would also ironically read the entire thing, but would unironically enjoy SB&HJ. Nepeta skips to Openbound. Sollux read Problem Sleuth, but didn't care for Homestuck.

The only Alpha kid who reads it is Roxy because (I think this was also mentioned above) she identifies with the nerd culture, and really fucking digs the video game abstraction. She would've been big on the forums, but faded into the background after they shut down. Probably helped make a popular fan game. She would also enjoy Problem Sleuth more.

Dirk doesn't read it, but DOES draw porn for it. As a joke.
