I fucking love the Protomen. I was introduced to them in like, what, 2010? 2011? Their music is just damn good. The themes of their music resonates way harder than the megaman theme present in it, which is honestly just unnecessary at this point. You could remove all the megaman references from their songs and it wouldn't get worse.

I could listen to Breaking Out every day for the rest of my life and never get sick of it. I can't think of any other song that applies.

The Protomen are fucking fantastic. The Will of One? Vengeance? Unrest in the House of Light? Keep Quiet? The Hounds? All straight fucking bangers.

"You are the dead" in Sons of Fate is one of the most chilling lines I've ever heard in a song. It almost drips with exasperation.

There's been a lot of throwaway lines in their newsletters about "recording Act III", which means the album is composed at the very least. Last mention of recording taking place was in August, first was a couple years ago IIRC, no idea why they're taking so long.

I'm a bit disappointed with the Gambler vocals in the live version, but I'm extremely excited about everything else.

I have more than enough HOPE for Act III. It's taking a while but it's not like I'm really GOING anywhere, not only that they're still doing music and features so that's alright with me.

Also The Hounds is the best track from Act II I am correct.

And yeah, yeah, Act III when? We're working on it. It’s getting fierce. It's looking like we won't beat the next Half-Life to market, but I've got money that we still beat Avatar 2.
