Problem Sleuth Megathread

Post by calamityCons » Sun Nov 10, 2019 9:32 pm

Wassup bitches it's time to get NOSTALGIC up in this bitch.

Let us begin with a simple question: who is your favorite Problem Sleuth character? Mine is Problem Sleuth himself because he is just such a silly dunce and a charismatic motherfucker. I love drawing him with a smug af smile. Here is a picture I drew of Problem Sleuth recently.

I mean
Death's pretty great.
He just wants to hang out and play a nice relaxing game. I can relate to that. I think we ALL can relate to Death on some level.

Pfff no worries, I'm not an authority on this stuff so I mean. Why NOT have two separate Problem Sleuth topics? One can be about PS in general and another can be about something related but distinctly separate, idk.

Either way, I think it is super neat to see more PS love. And you are all correct, PI and Death are both wonderful characters whomst I love.

Aww yeah finally a quality thread!

Problem Sleuth is amazing and I love it. I had a friend I convinced to read through blind and he enjoyed every moment of it like I did when I finally sat down and read it. I love this comic so damn much I bought the poster of PS in his office with the dramatic lighting from the nearby window shades.

Yeah this one^

Ace Dick is probably my favorite character, I was the most invested in him and he somehow makes me laugh the most!

I love Pickle Inspector a lot. Probably the saner of the characters and is quite frankly one of the biggest elements in Mobster Kingpin's defeat, despite all of his odd behaviors. 2nd is Death, because who doesn't love a good game?

I really like to combine the PS universe with the Intermission setting, it gives place to some great interactions and if you're as invested in carapacian xenology like i am you can combine the two for some great headcanons and worldbuilding surrounding the post-exile life in Alternia

It is entirely true, and I'm going to state this fact now:

Nervous Broad is the best MSPA girl. No ifs ands or buts.

I found the first couple chapters kind of boring so I just skipped ahead to the part with the whores on Whore Island

lol absolutely valid. The Recap pages occur more frequently in Problem Sleuth anyhow so you can read those to catch up on anything important.

I got my dad to cosplay problem sleuth with me in 2013 with like a week's notice.

Image

He still hasn't read it, though I think he would enjoy it and I still nudge him about it. He grew up on the text-command adventures that the whole MSPA idea is based on, and is a big fan of the sleuthin'/mystery theme. I've bombarded him with homestuck music on road trips though and he likes that, even if he keeps misidentifying it as cirque du soleil soundtrack.

Quite possibly one of the best webcomics on the internet. I've seen many comics in the same vein as Problem Sleuth, but not a single one comes close. It's Hussie's best work from start to finish.

Anyway the best character is Ace Dick.

That's a great cosplay! Also, it's very wholesome that your Dad supports your interests this much, that is incredibly sweet. :orange:

Remember how Problem Sleuth just straight up had a CAD joke in it
and Problem Sleuth just gets a buckleyface
that never stopped being a thing that happened
