Looks like whatever was in that containment cell is now on HM's tentacle appendage. It blurs in a weird way.

HM and SA scream in unison to avoid being separated as they switch between realities, but it seems that no matter what reality they're in, the anomaly that was in that cell blurs HM's tentacle appendage.
