Examples of statements I've seen tossed around Tumblr/Twitter/Reddit/Discord:
1. People who joined after the retcon are more likely to view its effects positively than those who watched it play out live.
2. People who joined late-comic but pre-epilogues are usually not as happy with the epilogues as those who have followed HS from near the start.
3. DirkJake is viewed more favorably by upd8 readers than those who began reading after they broke up.
This is a lot of conjecture, ofc, and there's not much evidence for it one way or the other. And even if it were true, it'd be subject to individual differences. But I find the idea interesting enough to talk about.

Re: How Do You Feel Your Point of Entry Has Influenced Your View on the Comic?
I don't know about my point of entry, but I was 14 when I started reading and I caught up until shortly before the Megapause. I've recently started getting back into it, rereading the comic and keeping up with BC, and as an adult I'm realizing that I only really remember the fandom brainrot, and very little about the story itself. It feels strange to have so little recollection of something I considered so formative to me, but also it's nice to look at it again as an adult without half the internet buzzing in my ear about it.
