You must use the most ARCANE of games to make such a daunting choice. These TYRANTS must be taken down very carefully. Any bad judgements could result in your quest for liberty and DEMOCRACY to fail.

You aren't too sure about that. In your personal experience while the Rose TYRANT reads fairly regularly she also sometimes bumbles about like a SODDEN FOOL and does nothing of real SIGNIFICANCE. The 8itch TYRANT had often inserted herself to bully the Rose TYRANT into avoiding the soporific drinks that made her such an embarrassing drunken mess so you suppose the tendency for her to do so has lessened recently. Still, you would not put it past her to SNEAK a drink here and there when the 8itch wasn't around.

There is however a problem with choosing the Rose TYRANT that you do have to consider carefully. She is rarely ALONE.


The Rose TYRANT is often with the Fussy TYRANT which means facing off against two TYRANTS instead of one. You had the element of surprise against the 8itch TYRANT and doubt outside of taking one by surprise you will have much luck with the other. The two also care incredibly about each other which means they will undoubtedly be as furiously encouraged to retaliate against you as you are to them once one of them dies.

You'd either need to lure one away from the other or get some help with this project.

You fondly regard your lost companions by dredging up an old memory. As fond as your recollections are you cannot deny it hurts as well. After being alone so long your companions you found in the endless wastes were the first contact you had with anyone else since the Revolution...and the Massacre. You could expect one of them to help you on your quest for removing these TYRANTS.

Sadly your friends are not here. One had gone elsewhere, though you don't know what her destination could have been. The others you never saw again. You feel deep inside that they are nonetheless gone forever. The Sovereign Slayer undoubtedly would have seen to that.

Something clenches uncomfortably in your gut. It isn't the phantom pain of the Slayer's hand having previously entered it with unwelcome intent.


Your resolve falters. You've had a PROPHETIC DREAM about rending destruction on others like the Slayer. You never thought you could bring yourself to harm anyone after the Massacre.

What are you doing? You have blood on your hands. It isn't the bright red blood that makes your blood freeze but it still was someone's blood. You're plotting to kill more and you know from watching the Windy Boy that they shared the red blood that you have. You even want to hurt the Windy Boy that you helped so long ago. It hurts.

Why do you want to hurt them? Why debase yourself to be a new Sovereign Slayer? You never wanted to be that.
